As the intense flooding of Hurricane Harvey slowly recedes, the magnitude of devastation and loss of life is still being realized. While Wisconsin is usually not directly affected by tropical storms, the consequences of such storms does effect us in other ways, like concern for loved ones who may be in harms way, the activation of relief services, or the volunteering of one's services either physically or monetarily. Of course Wisconsin has its own hazards that requires local activation, especially during serious flooding and severe storms. Geographic Techniques is eager to help.
